About Dr. Chiara

Dr. Louis C. Chiara, M.D., is a well known dermatologist in Milford and Novi, Michigan. He has treated a wide range of skin conditions in patients of all ages for over 25 years.

Dr. Chiara is a graduate of Regis University in Denver, Colorado. He holds a masters degree from prestigious Northwestern University in Evanston, Illinois and a degree from Rush School of Medicine in Chicago.

His residency training includes Cook County Hospital of Chicago, The University of Illinois at Peoria, and the Detroit Medical Center.

He is Board Certified by the American Board of Dermatology and a Fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology.

Dr. Chiara is an Assistant Clinical Instructor at Wayne State University School of Medicine.

Dr. Chiara is on staff at Providence and Huron Valley Hospitals. He is the former Chief of Venereology for the WSU Department of Dermatology.

Dr. Chiara is an active member of the community, having served for six years on the board of directors for the Huron Valley Chamber of Commerce.

He has been a volunteer physician in Nicaragua and he had maintained a Detroit inner city practice for sixteen years, serving the city's poor.
